之前当kelefei拍摄的戏 - 《咖啡恋人馆》，明天就开始于8TV播放了。弟弟昨天在MSN的时候跟我说，他朋友问他在电视上看到的人是不是我？哈哈...我已经很久没看电视了，更不可能看到广告，说真的，我还蛮期待看到自己在电视上的猫样！

BG-E3 Battery Grip

Hooray~I just bought a battery grip for my sweetheart Canon 400D. The price is incredibly cheap for a battery grip. You guess how much I paid for a thing usually cost more than RM300? I paid RM180 + RM10 postage, total RM190.00 for a BRAND NEW battery grip.

Let's just read the review from The Digital-Picture.

The Canon Battery Grip BG-E3 allows a full-sized portrait grip (complete with shutter release and buttons similar to the built-in grip) to be added or removed as desired - giving you the best of both worlds.

The battery cover on the 350D/400D is easily removable. Two battery holder options are provided with the Canon Battery Grip BG-E3 - both slide into the end of the BG-E3. One option allows two Canon NB-2LH batteries to be utilized (allowing about twice as many shots without a battery change). The other option allows 6 AA batteries to be used.

The surface of the full-size portrait grip is rubberized for sure handling. With the Canon Battery Grip BG-E3 installed, larger lenses are much easier to control and portrait oriented shot are more comfortable to take.

The BG-E3 is a very nice accessory for the 350D/400D!

Crazy for marathon

I am super crazy into running now. This is all because of our 'head' - Wui Yan, who is enthusiastic in joining various marathon runs. She is capable to influences all of us to join her, and when the time we feel regret, we are already on the road, running. Haha..

Frankly speaking, the reason I fall in love with jogging and walking is because I feel refresh every time after exercise. I can feel my body becomes lighter, and lifted up, I can walk faster, I become happier. Do not believe me, try it out!

So, there are another few runs line up in my schedule, for whoever interested to join, register today!
12th July: McDonalds Marathon Run 7km
19th July: Siemens Run 10km
25th July: Shape Run 5km

Now struggling whether I should register for Adidas Run held on 2nd August...

第一次，10KM马拉松

一个人的一生中，总有许多第一次...

星期六去了爬山涉水，星期日胆粗粗地去参加Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2009，回想起来，我还真厉害！呵呵呵...（典型自恋笑声）

三个月前就已经报名参加，当初一直犹豫及徘徊于5km和10km之间，在朋友的影响和荼毒下，我毅然报名参加10km马拉松。这对我来说是一个很大的挑战，也是我人生中第一个10km马拉松。断断续续地训练了三个月，没什么大帮助的训练，至少提升了我的体力和意志力。

我不是跑步的人，以前的我十分讨厌跑步，只因为我的体力差透了...直到一个机缘巧合之下，我被朋友拉去参加McDonalds Olympic 7km run，我发现，跑步其实挺有趣好玩的，过后还主动拉了朋友去参加另一个马拉松。

我超级佩服那些参加half marathon（21km）和full marathon（42km）的参赛者，他们酷呆了，其中还包括很老很老的公公婆婆们！帅！

很多时候付费参加马拉松，不是为了什么，只是看在那价值不菲的goodies上，哈哈！当然，完成竞赛后那种成就感和满足感都促使我一直参加一个又一个的马拉松。

10km的马拉松，真的不简单，而我成功完成，满足-ing~

三战茅草山，小组一日游

继之前两次的大战茅草山 - 茅草山看日落和再战茅草山，我再一次去了茅草山，而这一次是和教会小组组员一起去的。

这次拍的照片不多，也拍不到好照片，是我这位握相机之人的问题吧...就那么几张没什么水准的照片，还请大家多多包含！原本想后制成HDR的照片，哪知失算了，会摆动的茅草，让我align不到照片，只能做出一幅劣图...(T.T) 茅草山的景色依然迷人，只是当天的天气不怎么好，迷迷蒙蒙...

接下来，让我来介绍我的小组组员...

Jenny，小组组长，我们的领导者。能够成为组长，她的实力不容小窥；典型女子，爱逛街，爱打扮，比我小的她看起来比我成熟许多，还是我太幼稚了？
Elvira，不愧她是mass com学生， 口齿伶俐，一针见血，但也有活泼可爱的一面，down to earth的性格，让人觉得舒服。
Zi Yin，活泼可爱，给于人的外表是假象，她时时刻刻都可以令你大跌眼镜！
Francis，未来大医生，只要问到他关于医学/科学方面的问题，他可以滔滔不绝；十分友善的一个人。
Jian Vyee，和我来自同一个家乡，毕业于同一间中学，组里的忧郁男。

三次爬山经历，和不同的人，三种不同的心情，三种不同的经历，三次满满的满足感。茅草山，我对你依然爱不释手！

可是，逐渐有名的茅草山，似乎一次比一次秃头。是因为你太有名的关系，导致过多的人慕名而来，而使你逐渐失去昔日风采吗？

Still remember my previous post, I told you I did something really brave but stupid? I know, I am who I am, the girl who always stand firmly on her view of points (when she got her points), always talk straightly, cruelly, inconsiderately without second thought, sometimes my action offends people around me. After the incident, I feel really really bad, I mean, sometimes I don't even realized how I talk to people around me. Was it harsh? reasonable? rude? polite?

So, I decided to send an email to him, to apologize.

Unexpectedly, I got his reply a day later.

Luckily he was not feeling offended. I should seriously control and manage my way of communication with people around me.

UCSI Prom '09: Hollywood

I know a lot of you are anticipating for this post, don't ask me how do i know, I just know! UCSI Prom 2009, theme 'HOLLYWOOD' at Legend Hotel, to be specific, ballroom of Legend Hotel.

Nothing much to write, not many pictures to show also, just a little update of UCSI Prom '09, my first and last prom during study years. This is truly once-in-lifetime thing, for whoever never go to prom before and guys, you won't understand the pain (or only i feel the pain?). Dress hunting, make-up, hair do, dress up, high heels...these all drove me crazy!

Since I bought the ticket to Prom, I had been hunting for dress. Got this dress two week before prom, never show the full attire to anyone except one of my best friend, so now, secret is revealed! deng, Deng, DENG...

First time wearing dress other than uniform since primary school. Yeah, you see the right thing! Melisa that you know here hates dress! I bought a scarf, but my friends said I look over mature with the scarf, and I think the same too, so this poor thing was left behind at home.

What I could say for Prom,

1. Legend hotel is not bad, grand ballroom.
2. Food and drink is just so-so...cakes are nice though.
3. Event organize were so poor, no prom atmosphere, everyone busy doing their own thing, no one actually appreciate the performance on stage...but two emcees were awesome.
4. PA system and the whole PA control was so LOUSY, that I would not want to tell also, but really I have to! I feel like they did not communicate and co-ordinate before n during the event. They did not know when to play music, how to control the volume. Instead lower the volume, they play the music loud.
5. Being with friends are always fun, and this actually covered all the bad part of the night. FRIENDS ROCK!!

Lastly, a picture of me after the event, when I was at home..what amemorable fun-filled tired day!
